What do you like most about being back in Canada?

I love the people, the atmosphere, and just being close to my family and friends again. It’s been 15 years since I’ve lived here, so it’s great to be back home in Canada. Toronto rocks!

Who was your skating idol growing up?

I had so many, but one that really stands out in my memory is Brian Orser. When I was 9 years old, I even went up to him and asked him to be my pairs partner!

What are some of your life mottos?

- Live in the now.
- Focus on what you want and not on what you don’t want.
- When you wake up every morning, sing a happy tune.

What was your highlight of 2007?

Moving to Toronto. It’s my first time living in a big city, and so far I'm loving every minute of it!

You were inducted into the Skate Canada Hall of Fame just last year, can you tell us a bit about what that meant to you?

What a surprise to be inducted so soon after retirement. It was such an honor and a treat to step out on the ice with Victor once again.

What do you consider your greatest achievements, on the ice and off the ice?

Winning worlds, being a solo dancer, and learning and growing from the highs and the lows.

What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?
Being a mom, and still involved with this great sport. Dancing!
