Exclusive Interview with Shae-Lynn Bourne:         What was your first thought when being asked to participate in Battle of the Blades?   I was absolutely thrilled about the idea of Canada's two favourite sports uniting. The cutting edge brought to life!         How difficult is it to teach the hockey players how to figure skate? Even though the hockey players are unbelievably strong, athletic and amazing skaters, switching to figure skating is somewhat foreign to what they're used to. Putting figure skates on for the first time is like entering another world. That darn toe pick can really get in the way! Haha! I'm so impressed by all the guys that have agreed to give it a shot. They're having to learn a great deal in a very short amount of time.     How has training been going with your partner, Claude Lemieux? It's hard to believe that Claude and I have only skated together for 2 weeks at this point. The progress Claude has made from his first day in figure skates is truly remarkable. Claude has been a true professional, giving a 100% and always open to trying new things. Claude is a 6.0 partner and person!
